Front cover analysis

After finishing my front cover I decided there a lot of changes I need to make to improve it. First of all I am unhappy with my main image, I need someone who if more fitting to the R&B genre as well as getting them to pose better than in this picture. I don't know if I like the black and white picture. I like the font being black and red but depending on what main image I use I'm not sure if I will keep it black and white or not. I am also not sure whether I like my masthead font or not, again depending on what main image I use will depend on whether I will change my font to suit the image. I don't think my magazine really fits to the RnB genre, to improve this I think the best idea will be to follow an existing RnB magazine front cover closely, changing colors and features to suit my magazine.

Female costume ideas
For my costume ideas for my front image model I have chosen colours that represent RnB music, by looking at RnB artists and music videos I found costumes and make-up that I would want model to wear for my front cover image. I used colours such as red, black and gold to keep in the theme of RnB along with leather, studs, zips ec.

Male costume ideas
If I chose a male model I would want them to wear mainly black and gold since thats what most male RnB artists wear, with chains and tatoos.
